Hair-crimping appliances.-A stand for supporting hair-waving devices comprises a baseplate 1, Fig. 1, a two-part vertical member 5, 6, an horizontal member 9 stayed to the vertical member by a pivoted stay 12, a hanger-rod 16 carrying clipping-frames 22, 23 Fig. III, and a sliding pulley-block 36 for cords 28, 29 which support the electric heaters 26, 27. The baseplate 1 may be clamped to a table, or may be large enough to stand on the floor without a clamp. The various parts may be held together by screws or spring bolts. The lower part of the stay 12 is provided with a tongue which engages in the rod 6, the sleeve 13 being then locked; or the tongue may be on the upper end of the stay. The clipping-frames 22, 23 carry clips 30, 31 through which the cords 28, 29 are threaded; these cords may be the electric leads, or separate leads 43, 44 may be employed.
