Boxes made from special blanks; card &c. cases. -A cardboard box or packet for holding cigars, cigarettes, playing or visiting cards, &c. is made from a blank having extension flaps C, Fig. 3, on its sides D, which, when the blank is folded to make up the box, form a slide within the front F adapted to hold an advertising or display card E, Fig. 4, and to receive the tuck-in lid B, the contents of the box being thus protected. Extensions D' lap over the parts D, thus forming double-thickness sides. The parts are held together by adhesive or by metal fasteners.
