Picks; crowbars.-A combination tool, which can be used as a pick, spade, hoe, or crowbar and is suitable for military or agricultural purposes, comprises a pick member 1 provided at its rear end with a lug 2 to which a spade blade 3 is attached. The tool is provided with a downwardly-extending lug adapted to fit between two lugs 5 extending from the end of a securing-member 6 which is attached to the shaft. The tool and the securing-member are attached by a central pivot 8 and by a locking-pin 13, which is passed through holes 10, 11, or 12 in the lugs 5 and a hole in the lug on the tool member. The tool is available for use as a spade, a crowbar, or a pick and hoe, according as the locking-pin passes through the holes 10, 11, or 12.
