The metal shank 2 is formed with a wing which is bent over to form a hook 3. From about the middle of the rounded part 4 of the hook, a slip 5 is cut back to the stem. The strip left above the slit is bent down and riveted to the top of the stem at 6. The edge 9 at the lower part of the slit projects beyond that at the upper part and forms the cuting-edge. The extent of the projection is greatest midway between the inner and outer ends of the wing.
