Projectiles. - Relates to armour-piercing projectiles of the kind comprising a main shell from which an inner shell containing a bursting charge is expelled on impact, the said charge being subsequently exploded. According to the invention, the main shell a consists of a casing made in two parts screwed together at or near the shoulder, and having a rear recess c containing a propellant charge and a percussion fuse. When the projectile strikes the target, the inner shell b is expelled and penetrates the already damaged armour, a time-fuse carried by the shell b being ignited by the propellant charge.
