Single-trigger mechanisms.-Relates to singletrigger mechanism of the kind in which the searlifter comprises a lever which swings from one side to the other, and consists in a combination of parts comprising a special lifter and means for operating and controlling it.. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the sear-lifter comprises a lever 5 pivoted to a laterally swinging arm 2a having a nose 2 engaging a cam-slot 1b in the inner side of a projection 1a on the right tumbler 1. When both tumblers are cocked, the levers 2a, 5 are turned by the cam-slot into position under the right sear 7. as shown in Fig. 2. When the trigger is pulled, the fall of the right tumbler 1 releases the arm 2a, which is pressed to the left by a spring 8. A downwardly projecting stop 9 intercepts the lever 5 until it has been lowered by the release of the trigger.
