Roller heads; roving-guides.-In a roller head comprising a pair of small-diameter rollers 2, 2a set close up to drawing-rollers 3, 3a, a fork 6 comprising pins 7 of circular cross-section is placed before the drawing-rollers. The fork is carried by the usual traversing carriage 4 and serves to gather together and to prevent lateral displacement of the edges of the roving. The pins of the fork may be in the form of rotary tubes.
