Optical-projection apparatus; kinematograph apparatus.-Relates to the obtaining of stereoscopic and distance effects from kinematograph views projected on a screen, and consists in surrounding the image b by a proscenium a of box or conical shape, which may be formed of overlapping devices as in stage scenery if required, and is arranged in front of the screen, with a slight interval between the two, as shown. The interior sides, top, and bottom of the proscenium are decorated to enhance the effects, e.g. they may represent a street, or parts of an open-air scene.
