Fixed-chamber apparatus; for granular material. - A device for measuring tea in amounts sufficient for one or some other definite number of cupfuls comprises a hopper provided at the bottom with a slide f and a hinged door h. A stirrup f1 on the slide f holds the door h closed as long as the slide is open and allows it to fall open when the slide is closed, the space between the slide and the door constituting the measuring- chamber.
