In modifications the medicament may be replaced by cotton-wool impregnated with it, or the cottonwool B may.be omitted entirely, the casing enclosing only the medicament or impregnated cotton-wool, or the medicament or impregnated cotton-wool may be surrounded by cotton-wool.
