Foot cycles.-In a hobby-horse type of velocipeda for use by children, comprising a framework of scissors-like formation, supporting-wheels, a seat, and a steering-post, means are provided for adjusting the framework with respect to the steering-post in such a way that the height of the seat is varied to suit children of different sizes. The seat 23 is hinged at 24 to a central cress-member 17, and, at its front end, it rests upon the limbs of a V-shaped cross-member 8 carrying the axle 10 of the rear wheels 11. At is lower and front end, the member 17 is connected by interengaging eyes 21, 22 to the steering-post 1, and similar interengaging eyes are provided between the post and the front end or apex of the member 8, the eye 15, however, being carried by a shank 16 which is adapted to be engaged with, and retained in, any one of the holes 6 in the post. Foot-rests 5 are fitted for use in coasting.
