Walls.-Concrete junction piers for slab walls are made of the cross-section shown to allow either single or double walling to be connected between the ribs at any angle. They may have a longitudinal hole 5, metal reinforcement 4, and grooves 7 for cement. The connection is made by concrete fillings, which may be reinforced by metal bars 10 connected to the central reinforcement 4. Instead of a central hole 5, there may be one in each limb.
