These plungers are worked by handles o, i, which may be gripped by one and the same hand. The base of the detonator may be subjected to lateral compression before the longitudinal compression. The bottom of the detonator may be perforated by the plunger k, an inner ring being left. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 172,914.
