Ticket systems and apparatus for checking; printing-arrangements.-Spring-controlled tip-up seats in a theatre may be locked in the raised position or released for lowering from the boxoffice. The release of each seat is automatically recorded, and a ticket is impressed for the seat available. In front of the box-office attendant is a switchboard with a switch for each seat. A punch is provided for each switch and is operated by the switch lever mechanically so as to punch a ticket with the number of the seat. An electrically-operated counting-mechanism is provided for each class of seats. Mechanical registers operated by press-buttons for free seats or those at a reduced price are provided.
