Mud-guards rotating with wheels.-A disc 3 of canvas, rubber, or like material is held to the sides of a tyre by thumb-screws 4 passing through eyeleted holes 7 in the disc and engaging a nut 5 held within an annulus 6, which is vulcanized or otherwise secured to the cover 2. In a modification, the disc 3 is in two annular parts, the inner one being secured by vulcanizing or otherwise to the, side of the cover 2, while the outer part is secured to the inner part by lacing. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 25845/11.
