Supporting-arrangements for collectors. - In trolly collectors, wherein two or more poles are mounted one above the other on the same vertical axis as described in Specification 5469/12, the metal parts of the base are insulated from the power circuit. The trolly heads a are insulated from the poles e, f and are connected to cables a, b. The cable a is connected to a contact h, carried by an insulator j in the cap r and in engagement with a contact h1 which is carried by rings v, w mounted on an insulator x supported by a flange y on the trunnion q of the base p. The cable b is connected to a contact i, carried by and insulated from a bracket l on the sleeve s and in engagement with a contact ring z which is carried by a ring 1 secured by insulators k to a flange u on a sleeve t fixed to the trunnion q.
