Hair-cutting appliances of safety-razor type; razors, safety.-ln a combined hair-cutter and safety-razor of the type in which an ordinary double-edged perforated blade 7 is clamped to a carrier 4 slidable along the back of a comb 1 to vary the cut, the carrier is formed in a single piece, the body portion 3 acting as a spring in grooves 2 in the back of the comb, and projections 6 on the carrier engaging the perforations in the blade which is clamped thereto by a sliding plate 5, the central slot of which is of keyhole shape.
