Bridles; pads; materials.-A device for attaching to the heads of dangerous cattle or other animals to prevent forward and sideways, but not downward, vision comprises a plate 1, of aluminium or other material, having side-plates 2. The plate 1 is attached to the animals forehead by straps 5 passing round its horns, and an adjustable nose-band 11. The straps 5 are connected by straps 7, 13 to one another and to a neck-strap 12, which is connected in turn to the nose-band 5 by a link 14. The device is strengthened by ribs 15 and angle-plates 17. The straps 5, 11 support pads 20, 21, which consist of leather base-portions and leather-covered raised portions. In a modification for use on hornless animals, the neck-strap 12 is attached directly to the straps 5 and the side-plates 2, which are extended rearwardly.
