Power - generating systems. - In iron works the exhaust from motors c, preferably reciprocating engines, which drive the cogging rolls, and in some cases other machinery, is utilized in condensing motors f, preferably turbines, which drive the finishing rolls. An accumulator l may be inserted in the low-pressure line e. Alternatively, the engines c may be supplied with exhaust steam from a turbine o instead of with live steam, and in this case an accumulator m may be inserted in the supply line of the engines c. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises also the application of the system in mines and other plants. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
