Coating with adhesive and powdered materials; special fabric bases.-The surface of crÛpe rubber is rendered tacky, and leather dust, fibres &c. are applied by blowing, brushing &c. to impart an appearance of suede, plush &c. for the manufacture of upholstery, coverings &c. The material thus treated may be printed upon as in Specification 204,668, [Class 70, India-rubber &c.], and have a film of latex applied thereto. The whole is cold cured as by the Peachey process.
