Guide pulleys.-The cover plate of the pulley or guide wheels described in the parent Specification is replaced by a hinged cover which prevents the access of dust to the bearings. The domed plate 7 is provided with lugs 8 engaging eyes 10 on the pulley to form a hinge, and with a projecting ledge engaged by a turn-button 13 to hold the plate down. This tightly-fitting cover is of special use when the pulley is fitted with ball or roller bearings.
