Kinematograph picture films.-A kinematograph film is attached to a winding core by reducing the width of the end 2 of the film 1 and clamping the end in a groove 3 of corresponding width formed on the periphery of the core 4. The film is clamped by a spring 6 which covers somewhat more than half the circumference of the core. The film may have a single central row of perforations, or a row along each of its edges.
