Inflating .-The capsule used for inflating a life-buoy &c. is closed by a screwed piece 2 formed with a hollow outwardly screwed stem 4 which may be screwed into the lower part 6 of the handle 7 of the life-buov &c. This end is screwed into a flanged socket 10 secured in the opening of the container by a lock nut and washers. The hollow stem of the capsule is broken to inflate the buoy &c. The closure is of the kind described in Specification 135,596, [Class 8 (ii), Air and gases, Treating &c.].
