262,965. Roberts, E. J. Jan. 7, 1026. Helmets. - A sun helmet comprises a hollow metal shell provided with a valve 3 so that the air between the double walls 1, 2 may be exhausted. Internal non-conducting struts are provided, preferably in the form of longitudinal and transverse webs crossing at the top of the helmet. A detachable cork sweat band 5 is provided. The helmet may have a detachable fabric lining. The walls 1, 2 are of aluminium or aluminium alloy.
