Tool-arm mountings.-The stylus bar 4 is held against point fulcra on the sound-box by a tensioning member, preferably a leaf spring 10, passing through a transverse hole in the soundbox 3, or in a bracket fixed thereto, and connected to spring tensioning means. As shown, a leaf spring 10 fixed to the stylus bar is connected to a screwed rod 11 extending through a thimble 12 and provided with a nut 11b bearing on a spring 13. A rubber tube 14 on the rod 11 prevents metallic contact with the thimble end.
