Improvements in gas heating stoves and gas fires

Radiants for gas fires are made in the form of perforated plates which are arranged more or less horizontally over the burners. Figs. 1 and 2 show a plane irregularly-perforated radiant having solid or perforated supports B, B1 at the sides. The support may extend above as well as below the plane of the radiant, rendering it reversible. The surface of the radiant may be curved. The radiant may be supported by lugs or feet, one at each corner, for example, or, as shown in Fig. 6, formed at the front and back, or at the sides. Two or more radiants may be superimposed, and may be permanently joined in this relation.
