Folding vehicles; hoods. - A perambulator, push-chair and the like of the kind adapted to be folded and carried in a box-like case is provided with a body which forms part of the case and to which the component parts of the perambulator are hinged or secured. The wheels 35 are carried by forks 23 hinged to plates 22 carried by springs 24 secured to the body 1 which is of rectangular shape and open at top and bottom. The side irons 9 of the back are hinged to the body and carry hinged handle 8, hinged canopy frame 7, hinged arm-rests 15 and back 12 the upper part of which is adjustable by means of slotted plates 14. A foot-rest 30 vertically slidable on rods 28. 29 is provided. In running position the wheels are held by a hinged frame 32 engaging spring clips 34. The wheels are adapted to be folded into the lower part of the body and the arms 9 with their associated parts into the upper part of the body and the case is then closed by flaps 2, 3 of leather &c. which also serve as a canopy and an apron when the perambulator is unfolded. In a modification, the wheels are carried by plates hinged directly to the body.
