Dec. 28, 1926 Billiard-cue racks.-A rack for billiard cues comprises a lower series of holes k in which the butts are placed and an upper series of holes k1 in which the tips are received, each hole k1 being provided with a number of holes l in one of which a plug b can be inserted to prevent the butt of the cue being raised out of the lower hole for removal of the cue. The plug b is locked in position by a padlock passed through a fixed eyelet f and a rotatable eyelet e carried by the plug head m, after the eyelet e has been rotated, to bring its bent-down end d behind the front wall of the hole k1. The plug is provided with a groove c to permit the end d being brought flush with the plug. A pin g on the plug engaging a slot h prevents rotation of the plug. The rack may be incorporated in a stand carrying a hinged bar i, which may be locked to secure the cues independently of the plugs. The plugs may be provided at the lower end of the rack.
