Weavers' shuttle threaders.-The shuttle A is threaded by placing its eye B against the side of a bell-mouthed tube D communicating with a source of compressed air under control of a valve E adapted to blow the weft along the side of the shuttle. The tube D is formed in a carrier C as regards three of its sides, the fourth side being formed by the pressure of the shuttle. The Valve E may be operated by hand or by the shuttle. The device shown is adapted for threading right or left hand shuttles, and is pivoted at F for equalizing the pressure between it and the surface of the shuttle in contact therewith.
