Pneumatic conveyers.-In air-current apparatus for supplying pulverulent fuel to burners, the fuel and air mixture is passed through a conduit a, having a part a1 of rectangular section and fitted with vertical baffles e and with pivoted flaps k, k1, K2 which may be adjusted by levers o to control or cut off the fuel supply to any of the pipes l, l1, l2 leading to the burners. The baffles e are arranged, as shown, in echelon formation and are formed with screwed parts f by means of which they are adjustably mounted in the top wall of the conduit a.
