Ornametal metalwork.-A monogram, crest, or other emblem or device B is made of a metal harder and preferably of a contrasting colour to the metal of a signet ring, sleeve-link, bracelet, tie-pin, watch-charm, medal, or similar acticle A into which it is to be embedded, and is placed, in a finished condition on the surface of the article and pressed into the softer metal until the upper surfaces, are flush with one another. A holder C is employed to prevent distortion of the article A under pressure.
