Terrestrial and interplanetary electricity. utilizing.-Apparatus for increasing the vitality and growth of plants consists of a system of wires installed horizontally in .the ground and metallically connected to an aerial at a height above the ground, the aerial comprising a number of horizontal points arranged in two planes, one horizontal and the other vertical, and having their mean axis substantially in the south north direction. Copper points or pins 4 in a vertical plane are fastened to a metal box 1, which is provided with a wooden base 2 and rests on an insulating block 3 supported by a tower. Other points in a horizontal plane pass through insulating bushes in the box 1 and are connected to an insulated semi-circular metal band 6. The tips of the points are turned slightly upwards. Another metal band 10 is bolted to the box 1 opposite the band 6 and is connected by wires to the underground circuits. The tower comprises channel - iron uprights 131, 141 buttressed by round irons 16 passing through forked rods 17 and by angle irons at the base. The uprights are also braced by flat bands 18. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the horizontal points are connected in two groups in parallel to two conductors terminating at the underground system, and that a transformer is provided, the aerial being placed in the South and the underground wire in a South-North direction, with the outer ends left free or connected together. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
