摘要
310,458. Westberg, S. April 26, 1928, [Convention date]. Induction furnaces.-Furnace linings formed in situ, crucibles, &c. are baked by means of an electrically conducting core, which is freely suspended in the furnace &c. and is raised to a high temperature by an external induction coil. The lining or crucible is fired at a temperature sub stantially above the normal working temperature. In firing crucibles both core and induction coil may be suspended so that they can be lowered into and around the formed crucible. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the core may be used as a former for the lining; this method of moulding the linings forms no part of the invention claimed in the Specification as accepted.
