Handles.-A handle for a cricket bat, hockey stick, tennis racket, polo mallet, baseball bat or other sports implement comprises a central lamina spaced apart from the outer portions by staggered spacing members consisting of a strip or strips of resilient material passed through slots or holes in the lamina. The central lamina 1 and outer portions 2 of a handle are formed of rattan cane and are spaced apart by a strip or strips 4 of rubber laced through apertures in the lamina in any desired manner. Filling pieces 5 are attached to the ends of the outer portions and may also be provided along the edges of the lamina.
