Apparatus for making filaments. - To ensure uniform temperature conditions throughout a range of cells g for the dry spinning of artificial threads, each cell is provided at its upper and lower parts with separate heating elements a, b, the individual members of the two sets being connected together in series each in two groups and the heating liquid being circulated through the elements a, b, in opposite directions. Circulation is effected by means of pumps c, d, distributing valves of which offer a greater resistance than the pipes, being provided to ensure an equal distribution of the liquid. Heating devices, not shown, are provided at appropriate places in the circulating systems.
