Surface-markings.-A composition for use in marking lines for tennis courts or on roads consists of a filler of porcelain or pottery, ground to any degree of coarseness of fineness, and mixed with a binder of white cement, plaster of paris, and water to form a plastic paste. If desired, the filler and binder may be mixed and filled in position in the dry state, being damped with water after rolling or leaving for the humidity of the air to effect the binding action.
