Fibres, obtaining.-Instead of preparing woolcontaining fabrics made from old and waste material and containing artificial silk waste, for dyeing, as described in the parent Specification, by treatment with organic solvents for cellulose derivatives, such solvents being removable, and being subsequently removed, from the fabric by water below 60‹ C.. the old and waste materials are similarly treated before weaving. Examples of solvents are methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetone, methyl-ethyl ketone, isopropyl chloride, methylene chloride, or mixtures thereof.
