Elevated runways.-Theatre &c. curtains are carried by runners 5 slidably arranged upon a pair of parallel tubes or rods 3 suspended, preferably by inverted V-shaped straps 2, from a rod or tube 1. The straps may be welded to the rod &c. 1 and to the rods &c. 3. The rod &c. 1 is held in wall or ceiling brackets or suspended by cords 18 attached to removable fittings 20. For double curtains a pair of rods 1, with their tracks 3, overlap, the overlapping ends being adjustably connected by clamps 12.
