[Class 115.] To enable a boat to be lowered on an even keel, the standing parts of the falls are belayed to cleats 14, 15 on the lower blocks 8, 11 or on other suitable parts such as the davit arm so that adjustments can be made by taking off turns from the cleats. The lowering gear may be of the kind described in Specification 339,381, [Class 78 (v), Winding and paying-out apparatus &c.].
