[Class 69 (i).] An arrangement for cleaning the tanks of cargo vessels comprises a fitting 13 which is rotated by means of the gearing shown and is provided with jets 15 which direct cleaning fluid against the sides of the tank the spent liquid being removed so as to maintain the bottom substantially free from liquid. The cleaning liquid which is conveniently stored in the wing tanks is heated by the coil 26 and circulated by the pump 9.
