[Class 40 (ii).] A multi-colour screen support for kinematograph &c. films consists of alternate translucent dyed and opaque layers extending through the entire thickness of the support. For sound films the supports are formed with unscreened marginal portions of width sufficient to provide for the sound record, perforations and film margin. Such films are cut from a block formed of coloured layers combined with top and bottom colourless blocks ; preferably several colour blocks with interposed colourless blocks are combined and pared together, the broad band being cut into separate film strips after the emulsion has been applied.
