[Classes 40 (i) and 118 (i).] An indicator showing all stopping- places to the passengers of a roadvehicle is adapted to be set by the conductor to indicate in advance the " halts " at which the vehicle is required to stop, the particular setting being automatically signalled to the driver by the selective lighting of lamps 7a .. 7f on the dashboard. The " halts " displayed on roller blinds or slips 3 are selectively indicated by moving shutters 5a .. 5r, switches 6a .. 6r being operated by projections on the back of the shutters to light the corresponding lamps 7a .. 7f. The driver inserts a plug to connect any of the three panels 1 corresponding to different stages with the lamp system, tell - tale lamps T, T2, T3 indicating to the passenger which panel is in operation. An indicating lamp T is also provided for the driver. Advertising matter may be displayed against the " halts."
