[Class 98 (i).] A change box fcr use in photography, especially R÷ntgen ray photography, comprises a storage compartment for the sensitized material and an exposure chamber into and out of which the sensitive material is drawn by pulling on a manipulation strip. In the form shown films 21 are stored in the front compartment of the chamber 3 and are drawn up into the exposure chamber 1 by pulling on the strips 24 attached to the lower edges of the films. The film passes between plates 7, 8 of which the latter is movable into contact with the film by pulling down the plate 12 which is operated by an eccentric wheel 13 on the rod 14 which simultaneously closes the switch 15 of the R÷ntgen ray apparatus. The film is afterwards drawn into the rear of the chamber 3 by pulling on the strip 24. The strip has shoulders engaging the sides of the opening 6 when the film is in exposure position and freed to enable it to be further pulled by a pull in a horizontal direction. In a modification separate storage chambers for exposed and unexposed films are provided above and below the exposure chamber, apertures being cut in the parts of the pulling strips lying in the exposure chamber.
