[Class 128.] A mobile floating ornament comprises a model insect, such as a butterfly or moth, mounted on a flat transparent float adapted to carry a piece of camphor on its underside, the device being formed mainly of cellulose acetate or similar material. As shown, a pair of coloured, transparent wings 10 are connected by a bridge-piece 11 removably or fixedly secured in a slot in a body portion 12 that is cemented to a flat float 15. A piece of camphor 16 is secured to the underside of the float by a celluloid spring 17, the outer end 19 of which extends above the level of the float to facilitate its manipulation.
