摘要
397,721. Diaphragms. MATTHEWS, A. G., 10, Bournevale Road, Streatham, London, and WRIGHT, A. G., 21, Clifden Road, Twickenham, Middlesex. Nov. 19, 1932, No. 32789. [Class 40 (iv).] A diaphragm or horn is formed of strips of pliable wood or cane plaited or woven in such a way as to allow vibratory movement of the individual strips, the diaphragm or horn so formed being coated with a material to render the strips more sound responsive. The coating material preferably closes interstices left in the weaving. The diaphragm or horn may be pressed into shape from a sheet of woven strips or the strips may be woven into a conical or concave shape. The coating is preferably formed of tissue paper and after application may be waterproofed.
