[Class 43.] A portable electric lamp holder is formed from a single strip of soft sheet metal or other sheet material, bent into a circle to form a rigid socket 1 for a separate electric lamp holder 2, and extended to form an integral loop 3 or 3a (which may be hook-shaped with an outwardly directed lip 3b) and which grips the finger, thumb, wrist or adjacent part of the user's hand or arm. The parallel portions 4, 5, or 4a, 5a, are held together by a clip 6, lugs formed on the side of the portion 4, rivets or screws. The separate lamp holder may be a cylindrical socket carrying contacts. The lamp holder may be fitted with an eye shade or reflector.
