[Class 69 (i)] [See also Group XXXIII] Tanks for use on board ship are provided with baffles a, b which extend downwardly from the top of the tank into the upper portion of the wine or other liquid therein ; the baffles are arranged to form cross-shaped units, the various pockets formed communicating only by narrow channels c. Each baffle is formed so as to merge into the top of the tank by an arc of small radius, and may be of V-section closed at the bottom by a similar arc. The tanks may be as described in Specification 411,972.
