[Class 59] [See also Group XII] A fuel hopper 1a is provided with a fuelagitating device consisting of a frame 1, 6, 7, pivotally mounted at 5a in the side walls of the hopper and provided at its lower end with a projection 2 which engages the convolutions of a screw conveyer 3 by which the fuel is fed to the furnace. The frame is moved in one direction against the resistance of springs 8 until the projection 2 is released by the screw, the frame being then moved by the springs in the opposite direction until the projection 2 again engages the screw.
