[Class 118 (i)] In an electric burglar-alarm circuit wherein a grid of wire or ribbon forming part of the circuit is held between two layers of glass, paper, or other material, one of the glass layers is provided at opposite edges AC, BD with overlapping adhesive strips EF, LN, the wire being spaced by slits in these strips as it is led to and fro across the glass. The other layer of glass is then placed over the first layer, and the adhesive strips are bent over the edges and secured, the wire terminals protruding at W, W. Additional adhesive bindings and coverings may be provided for the edges, and the strips may be treated with a waterproof solution, which may also be applied to the layers themselves.
