[Class 63] An inner cap or head-band for use with a bathing cap comprises a band or pad of chamois leather and means for securing and retaining the band or pad in position between the head of the wearer and the edge of the bathing cap. A net cap 1 having a rubber band enclosed in a hem at its edge may support a doubled chamois leather strip 3, which may extend all round the head-opening. Alternatively the cap may be of any material, a piece of chamois leather being doubled and sewn over the edge. The purpose of the absorbent leather is to keep the hair dry.
